Solo travel is exhausting.

Some key moments about my 2 weeks solo travelling are (but certainly not limited to): Losing my passport in Kampot for an hour (that was not fun believe me) Getting ill in Siem Reap going to the doctors for them to charge me $300 for antibiotics, thanks hun i could've just got this at the bloody pharmacy. (Don't worry i'm going to claim on my travel insurance) Losing my phone in Koh Rong Samloem, just don't get as drunk as i do - i'm just a bit crazy and wild and free.  Jumping off the wrong side of a motorbike and getting burnt by the exhaust.. that thing kinda hurts i'm not going to lie It wasn't all bad though - i got to learn about the devasting history and culture, spend the afternoon as the funnest waterpark in Kampot, see the beautiful temples of Angkor Wat, 4 crazy nights in Pub Street, and experience a 3 person motorbike ride up Bokor Mountain (don't recommend, just learn to ride your own bloody scooter). - Day 1 o...

living alone in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC (not clickbait)

So if you didn’t already know - first of all, where have you been and how do I get there? - we’re in the middle  of a global pandemic, and it’s kinda crazy. Think all of our previous illness outbreaks (swine flu, foot & mouth, ebola eta) on steroids; it’s actually passed the point of being able to joke about it it’s that serious, hundreds are dying each day and apparently we’re not even over the worst of it yet. Let us go back 3-4 weeks, I was still working at go west and I remember our boss had gone over to Malaysia on business and in the office we were like WHY IS HE DOING THAT ?! Has he not seen the news? There’s this weird corona virus going round, he’s going to bring it home. Turns out that was the best of the situation and honestly it ain’t shit in Malaysia. 30 things to do before I turn 30

I turned 26 nearly 4 months ago now and it’s dawned on me how quickly 26 has actually come around. Life just passes by and if you don’t grab onto every opportunity possible you’ll miss it and be stuck in a rut with regrets for the rest of your life. So, I’ve decided to make a list of 30 things I should really try and do before I turn 30, I still have 4 years to go and I am by no means wishing my life away but it’s always nice to have something to look back on when you get there and see if you can actually tick anything off (hopefully everything). My twenties so far have been pretty good to me, I’ve had the chance to do things that most 26 year olds might not have and I genuinely am so grateful for the life I have lived.  Visit 30 countries, I’ve got 9 to go - I think its more than doable in 4 years. Solo trip in Europe - maybe an inter railing experience for 2 weeks. This could tie in very well with number 1. Go veggie for at least a year. I’m transitioning now, ...
